The incident took place at an amusement park about 45 miles north of Chicago
And that's where I stopped reading. I bet it happened because someone accidentally stepped on someone else's shoes

According to authorities, three people were injured in the incident: A 17-year-old male from Aurora sustained a gun shot wound to the upper thigh and a 19-year-old female from Appleton, Wisconsin sustained a gun shot wound to the lower leg. Both were transported to a nearby hospital. A third person sustained a shoulder injury and declined transportation to the hospital.
I guess she shouldn't have crossed state lines to go to an amusement park.

Imagine going to six flags thinking your gonna die on a roller coaster but you get shot and die before you even enter the park

The Chicago 6 flags is why I stopped going there to begin with. Flew to meet for a friend's birthday and that was the first stop.

It was so ghetto and this was 6 years ago. Haven't been back and have no desire. There were several angry arguments, someone cutting in line and swearing at the people calling him out, group was walking with food and tossed their empty containers on the ground, groups blasting rap music in the parking lot...it seriously resembles like a post apocalyptic broken down society.

Heard it was a road rage (the automotive version of stepping on someone's shoes) incident that spilled over from the parking lot to the gate.
