Has anyone here actually worn shoe lifts? (srs)

So here's the deal, I meassure at exactly 5'7.5 barefoot but when when I wear shoes and because I have a broccoli haircut, I'm pretty much 5'8 when I'm outside.

The thing is I'm not insecure about my height and no one IRL makes fun of me for it, I merely want to try it out of curiosity.

Pretty much want to do an experiment next time I go on a night out and see if it makes any difference in attracting sloots and see if the misc is right about us manlets.

If I got 3 inch shoe lifts I'd be 5'11. Not tall but any means but no longer short. Anyone here done this before? What do they feel like on your feet?

My brother's boss is 6'5" and wears them because he wants to be 6'7", and I've met one guy who was around 5'10" and used them to claim 6' on tinder.

Honestly nobody gives a ****, just don't make it obvious. I don't wear lifts since I'm already tall but I'd be lying if it wouldn't be nice to be 6'4 some nights out. I may start wearing them actually cuz who gives a ****.

Good luck dancing with them on tho. Might wanna use them for bars/parties pretty much exclusively.

Honestly just get some nice boots, stick the bare minimum lifts in there and that's +3in easy. Or just get some boots alone, should be like +2, nobody would know.

Just don't overdo it and try to add like +5in or something stupid, that'll definitely look awkward.

Why not wear boots or something like that?

That way it's a real shoe and not some weird secret anxiety producing thing.

Also, if you like some girl and eventually get comfortable together and take your shoes off and are suddenly three inches shorter, that's going to be odd.

I think it's not worth it.

I always wear 1 cm (0.4 inch) lifts. I actually prefer the heel elevation even when playing sports and it makes me almost a half inch taller. Why not?

I've never used any kind of insert in my shoes that would make me appear taller as I usually wear really flat sneakers, but I once tried boots at the store years ago that must have had some kind of lifts integrated and it felt really natural. I'm sure you could find something that feels like you could wear it on a daily basis brah. Try an orthopaedic shop?

I can always tell who is wearing super huge boots with big soles or guys wearing lifts. Why?

Their frame doesn't match their height. I remember seeing this guy look like a short guy on stilts from afar. Something seemed of by this creature. I look down when I can see his feet and he has boots on with like a 3in heel/bottom.

The thing is though I actually have manmore proportions despite being short. Long arms, long legs and a short torso lmao.

In the past when I've met girls off of Tinder, they were surprised by my height and thought I'd be taller when they said they seen my pics.

Even when I've sparred in the boxing gym, the guys say I have a good reach for my height.

I'm 6'1" but when I put two sets of insoles in my work boots the height comments were nuts. People can tell right off the bat even a half or 3/4 inch difference.
