Is "blocking" ppl on social media one of the great technological disasters

BRB never have to think about or even be aware of things you don't agree with.

I understand these features are useful for people who attract sexual abuse, racist **** etc but the majority of people I see talking about blocking people are doing it because they are soft af and cannot process unpleasant things in a healthy, adult way.

What u think misc?

A person who blocks people is a petty coward.

You should be able to deal with any kind of person who comes your way and mature enough to know that politics and so forth really has little to do with you. If you like Trump or abortions you opinion barely matters and certainly doesn't matter in interpersonal discussions.

I can understand blocking a crazy person though.
