Today I ordered boneless chicken wings and a salad instead of pizza from Round Table. I’ll see how this goes, and might start only getting this from now on instead of pizza.

Get steak from costco

buy ziplock bags

freeze steaks

buy air fryer

Air fryer is nice because you can cook steak straight from the freezer and it still tastes great.

Add some rice/veggies

This is my big meal for the day.

Other meals I keep light or just eat small snacks.

Dieting or eating a healthy diet is extremely simple. The annoying parts that make it difficult though are time, effort and avoiding eating the bad stuff too consistently.

Skills:
1. Get good at cooking
2. Try new dishes
3. Be creative

Most of my diet this summer has been red meat, local veggies, pasture raised local eggs, greek yogurt, in season local fruit, and my carb sources have been potatoes, sweet potatoes, and white rice. These are pretty much my staples right now, but I have been doing a lot of different dishes. Today I ate marinated carne asada flank steak and grilled peppers. Later I will have the leftovers plus homemade sweet potato fries I'll cook up later. I have 2.5lb of skirt steak to marinade tonight to grill tomorrow, I have grass fed ground beef and bison I'll also make bacon wrapped meatballs with, I'll make mexican rice and chimichurri for the skirt steak, and probably afghani style rice with the meatballs. Dessert this week will be grilled local peaches doused in in honey and whole fat greek yogurt with some cinnamon and vanilla to season. I'll make local apple crumble as well that is like 5 ingredients total but tastes amazing.

I also am huge on water. I'm the biggest water snob. Only drink high quality water that has minerals. Evian, fiji, any mountain or artensan water, spring water, etc. I get most of my minerals and trace minerals from drinking mineral water. I also have a water source I can get clean mineral artesan water from.

It's moreso adding in little habits to eating better and learning to cook better. Eating healthy without being able to cook well, season things correctly, or being creative is a major struggle. That used to be my issue.

Good luck OP. Hope you got at least 1 thing from my dissertation haha

Unless you have enough to afford a chef you will have to cook for yourself a lot.

Extremely overrated.

Just work out HARD, eat clean, don't gorge yourself, keep the simple carbs really low.

Counting calories is only a thing if you're trying to be competitive level, or too lazy to work out hard.

Penis is zero calories. Just spit.

But srs, if youre single and can afford it, those companies that send you prep meals are convenient and timesavingmaxxing.
There are so many that cater to specific diet for lifters, like protein, keto, ect

I need to cut and think i’m going to sign up again.

begrudgingly the best is probably big breakfast with a smaller lunch after lifting and skip dinner, no snacking. stay busy so there is no time to get bored and go looking for snacks

learn to cook
move to fats instead of oils. i get fat with the meat i buy, heat it up, strain it and get some pure clean fat.
one meal a day works nice for me but if you need some energy in the day might no be ideal

and my favourite, yo-yoing your calories. i like to go super low like maybe 5 days so lets say for example two years ago i would do like 1500 which felt super **** for 5 days. then i'd bounce it up to 2000 which is still low but just felt really nice because of how low the previous week was. then i'd bounce down again. you get the diea.

Too hard to decipher tbh. I made a lot of little changes along that same time. I would say yes though to some extent. Take that for what it is worth. I think most people don't see the need to really go as far as I am with going for more natural/organic/farm based/local dietary habits. I just feel better naturally day to day. Don't need to take any supps or anything. Used to take magnesium chloride pretty consistently for example because I would get heart palps/flutters quite a bit. Never get them anymore even with drinking caffeine. The water I drink has magnesium naturally along with things like calcium, potassium, sodium, and other trace minerals.

It just tastes better too. More refreshing. I know there isn't chemicals or bullchit in it. Just natural water.
