The truth is, even if it didn't have sjw bs in it, I still wouldn't watch it because the original series ended so badly, it left a bad taste in my mouth regarding the entire brand.

I tried GoT and thought it boring with terrible costumes and sets.

In the first couple of episode, it was clear that the people were wearing wigs.

The dragon girl looked hispanic and yet had white hair, that didn't go with her skin, and on top of that hair hair was like a sculpture instead of real hair.

I watched two seasons and there was no story and the nudity was super corny in the age of internet porn.

Then, from what I heard, they didn't know how to end the show.

A new show does not sound appealing.

Terrible fuking acting so far, the best actors are the Targeryan princess and the hand, the rest are straight up garbage, Daemon? Jesus who told that inbred looking Brit he could act?

Looks like they're banking it all on mUh DrAgOnS and CGI for the low IQ crowd.

First episode was pretty boring. But I'll give it a few more episodes to reach my final verdict. But it'll have to pick it up dramatically. Most of the characters seem forgettable.

Was worried they'd censor the sex / gore but there was plenty of both, just like GoT

Apart from the guy playing Daemon the acting seemed decent too

Only other issue i had was cgi being chit, but other than that it was enjoyable

My thoughts on premier. Potential spoilers. Getting the SJW stuff out right away since that is probably one of the bigger controversies regarding the show.

Seems like they are going hard with the female leader angle like they did with Daenerys. The Daenerys angle really annoyed me in original GOT. Not at first, but the holier than thou, forced super strong woman leader aspect needed to be toned down. This hasn't come out in the princesses development yet, and I hope they keep it low key. Cat Stark was a good balance in the original GOT where she was strong female, but also not over the top and I hope they go that direction with her in the series.

Was weird seeing the black family in that it did seemed forced. Combined with his demeanor, chair not facing the king at the kings counsel, "manspreading", stoic yet simultaneously over confident attitude it just seemed a little forced. The writers are going to need to come up with a seriously engaging and believable backstory to how this happened and that it is not just a token black family intentionally written in because SJW reasons.

Dragon riding scene in beginning was corny and like others above have said, appeals to the low IQ viewers. The king eating the hard boiled egg at the start was terrible acting.

I do think the series does have potential. I see alot of characters that are mirrors of the big players in original GOT. The king specifically is on his way to become a Ned Stark. Kings brother is little finger. Princess is Daenerys. I will keep watching as I do think it has potential with the expectation it will disappoint based off how the original GOT ended.

Woke levels weren't terrible. You know they are going to bump it to level 10 once the story has developed and has an audience just like they do with anything that can be hijacked.

After watching first ep. Im gonna have to change my take a bit...

CGI was worse than the trailers and settings felt like a step back from GOT, acting was just ok I thought Daemon Chadgaryen was the only solid character... Everyone else was mid, GOT had a wide variety of different characters and personalities, so far I don't think many will stand out, they all flat

Still watchable but sadly I don't think it will reach GOT levels

It was a bit better than I expected. There is wokeness but it’s pretty minimal. This first episode was a lot of setting the stage so will have to watch a few more to really get a sense of it

Something tells me he's just getting blown by girls as they go through casting to see if they 'get' the part.
