Anyone feel a lack of purpose?

I feel disconnected and lack of purpose I'm really feeling it in my 30s now

Legitimately think it's because people are single that they feel a lack of purpose. Particularly if they actually want a relationship / wife / kids. Particularly if they're used to being in a LTR, or at least having the angst and intimacy of women and are then without it - or otherwise have become numb and unfulfilled by the FWB / ONS lifestyle.

Absolutely. I think a lot of us took the kind of stupid bait you see on the misc that money is everything, disregard everything acquire currency etc etc.

My life is empty as fuk. There is no point to any of this. Its not even fun anymore so many chitty things keep happening me its not worth it.

Im definitely in a crisis in which I dont see a reason to even bother. Only thing keeping me around and not just roping is my parents. When they are gone I just dont see the argument I'll have to bother sticking around wage slaving sucking my own dink and dying alone

Call me simple, but it feels like life is my purpose.

I think that deep down if we feel like something is missing, we know exactly what it is.

You know whether or not your job is sucking the life out of you

You know whether your relationship or lack of one is hurting or helping

You know if you're bored and know what direction you want to go in to fix it

The real problem I think is that comfort and monotony are really, really easy, and we will choose it over the unknown because the unknown is fear. We're designed to run from fear. Face that chit. Not like any of us get out of life alive anyway.

Do you have a soulless job too? Also getting laid every once in a while or getting a GF doesn't guarantee happiness. It can add to your life but it's not like if you get a GF your life will be amazing forever. Believe me. Money does not buy happiness unless you're so rich you can retire whenever you want. Material things are nice but relationships and purpose comes first. I was happier when i didn't have chit. So yeah just in a totally different stage of life now and feel lost.

Speaking of lost, these guys write songs about this kind of stuff but this is how i feel. Every day i ask myself how did i even get in this situation?

nothing can guarantee happiness. There have been rich famous people who have not been happy. Its irrelevant.

The problem is that a lack of certain things makes misery very likely. Having friends wont make you happy. But being alone will make you miserable.

Being rich wont make you happy. Being poor will make you miserable.

Being healthy wont make you happy. Being sick will make you miserable

And yes, having a gf wont make you happy. But being an incel will make you miserable. Life is cruel

It's all about Maslow's hierarchy of needs, if you can't make it past the psychological needs then you will have low self esteem. But lots of people nowadays cannot find intimate relationships or friends.
