Misc. Drinkers GTFIH: Do you like getting drunk?
I was listening to the Huberman lab podcast today and he claimed that only the first drink or 2 & that nice "buzzed" feeling feels good, and everything after that doesn't. I wholeheartedly disagree. I genuinely enjoy the feeling from being completely fuked up sometimes. I don't do it often cuz I've gotten terrible hangovers since like 24 or 25, but the loss of control of being fuked up feels great to me. I can count the amount of times I stopped at 2 drinks on one hand. Can any bros here relate?

Going from sober to buzzed feels good, but it also feels good to go from buzzed to drunk, i dont like to get really drunk though and feel sick. I find that 7 drinks or so in a night is enough for me most of the time.

Probably the type of guy who only eats the serving size out of a bag of Doritos.

I don't get hangovers 99% of the time, even if I'm absolutely shmammered. The next morning I just feel tired, which coffee takes care of. I often have a few when I'm doing mundane chit like yardwork, cleaning up my home office, I usually cook dinner with 2-3 drinks in me. I was planning on doing 30 days dry soon.
Only question was whether I started today or after my birthday coming up. But then my wife totaled one of our cars today. She's fine, just sore, no kids in the car. But that's a monthly payment I haven't had in awhile. When I got her back home I went into our 2 yr old's room. He was naked, had smeared chit all over the floor and his bed. His hands and feet were caked in chit. Looked like a Jackson Pollock painting on the floor, which already had tons of toys on it. I cleaned him up, threw away some toys, and I went to the liquor store. All before noon. So being dry is postponed for now.
