What's a "Hard" day at work for you misc?

What's a "Hard" day at work for you misc?
We got some people on this site that make good $$, have some good jobs.. We all know that with that salary comes some really chitty situations.
For me it comes down to little things in addition to weather. Thunderstorms that take over Approach Control airspace but also makes it so everyone that comes in/out of that Approach control is now deviating. Have some pilots who swear they can make it through a gap in the cells, even tho I tell them it might be better to fly a specific heading around it, but now it's too late and they are deviating... and I said that because I could see there was gonna be another aircraft taking off/landing and ALSO wanting to deviate around some weather.
So now I have to be hyper focused on these 4-5 planes and others around this specific segment of weather and coordinating with APCH Control and other centers, now there's a bunch of VFR guys who call for flight following and I just want to tell them "NOOOOO" but I have to say yes.. or guys who are asking for vectors to an airport in the middle of nowhere, and now there is military aircraft asking for a block of altitude after the storm passed and doing some random IR route, but not before Aerial refueling with a tanker along a track that the storm just passed.
Those are the days I tell myself I actually earned my paycheck

wake up hungover as ****
cant eat much breakfast cuz feel like ****

Old job was in consulting/accounting/law/banking in M&A space. Client service business and they are paying a lot of money so they own you and you have no say on timeline.
So a bad day would just be endless tasks coming in with a “by end of day” or “first thing tomorrow” deadline. And they just keep piling up.
For example:
I remember one Sunday after working all weekend, wrap things up by 9 pm, then just as getting ready to watch some tv before bed and starting week over again, an email from other side comes in and client wants us to do stuff on it immediately because closing is in 3 days. So now working till midnight.
Or a random weekday when I’m on my way home at normalish time and someone calls me asking for what I thought would be an easy, one hour task. When I get home and dig into it, it is harder than I thought and I finish it at 4am.
Or a Saturday where no one has bothered me all day and it is now 4pm and I’m sure no one is going to call me so i take the kids to the pool and within 30 minutes I get a call on something that has to be done right away and it’s going to take a while, so I tell the kids we have to leave and they are crying because we just got there. Worked until 1 am.
There were multiple all nighters but at least I kind of had a heads up when those happened. It was the unpredictability that killed me. Would rather have a planned all-nighter than a surprise working til midnight.
Money was good but I’ll never go back.

Difficulty rating-cause
4/10 chitty weather (rain, wind, snow). I drive a tall ass van, and wind really fuks with me on these 2 lane roads going 65 mph.
5/10 yelled at by boss. 3/10 if it's not my fault, 6/10 if it is and I gotta clean up messes and look like an idiot.
8/10 can't figure out a problem, nobody is answering the phone, customer pissy, and I'm realizing my company is fukking gay and stupid for sending me to fix a machine I've never seen before in my life. Day gets instantly better if I figure it out. Either way I'm scrolling through indeed when I get home for non&chit companies.

Get copied on email at 4 AM from customer VP to my VP saying they need me on site ASAP
Run through shower and bust into work to try to get as much done on another project as I can before I leave
Crash out in the "thinking chair" (easy chair we stole from the lobby) for a couple of hours
10 AM get the official word: be on the 4 PM Emirates flight
Take my wife out to lunch, go home and throw my stuff in a bag and head to the airport
16 hours later I'm landing in *****
Grab a few hours sleep and head to the shipyard first thing in the morning
Two weeks of 12 hour days later I finally head back home.

I'm a cop. 12 hour shifts. The hardest days are those when we are both short-handed and you get a ton of 'petty' calls. Burglar alarms at businesses/houses. Shoplifting. People arguing/fighting. Domestic disturbances. A bunch of minor crashes etc. A busy day I might handle anywhere from 25-30 calls. Which is absolutely rocking and rolling driving to 2-3 different locations in an hour and appeasing people over non-sense.
Going to sound strange but anytime you arrive and someone just died (fatal crash, shooting/stabbing/over-dose/suicide/death natural causes, etc.) its going to be a laid back and relaxing few hours.

I do my work from home job out of an office in a family business where I help my dad. When I actually get to work from home, it’s usually so I can also watch my 2 kids as I work. My job is multitasking.

Being on call and getting called at 3 am for a big issue in production. We rotate on call with everyone, but it's the worst when it's your turn and you get called. The issue is never a simple one either, otherwise they wouldn't be reaching out.

Got up early and clay barred the car yesterday. just did the top parts, hood, trunk, roof.
Took all of about 45 minutes because I have never done it before. After that pretty much called it a day. Took a walk by the bay later.
Todays big workload consists of cleaning the inside of the windshield. she be about 30 minutes of applied effort. After that will ride the bike trainer for an hour then jump in the pool.

My toughest days are on sites + team dinners. Feel like my autism is showing here but nothing drains me more than being "on" for 9+ hours and then socializing.
