Any1 hear stuck in their pleb job?

brb normie 40k plebcel

brb been with company 10 years
brb only 1 up from entry level
maybe 2up when older dude is sick and i get team lead
brb boss is chill but lazy, doesnt know how to deal with personal conflict
brb its consistent and their is always work
brb full benefits and matching 401k
but the people are ****
brb same routine everyday - become machine
brb am i literally just supposed to salve away like this until i die?

Can't relate.

Got $60k salary when I graduated college. Now I've got $110k base and ~$140k+ gross less than 5 years later.

Why didn't you shop around for external offers? Why not get further education or certifications? Are you just being intentionally complacent and stagnant?

yeah the benefits are really good, full dental, optical... 500$ for massages, 350 every 2 years for perscription glasses and tons of stuff like that, child care... all that. free gym membership (they sponsor local team). but it still just a machine job.
everything is by the book and if you dont follow it youre out! i dunno just seems so impersonal and drone driven. dunno how people do this for decades.
