Is Uber terrible everywhere now?

Here in London it's pretty much unusable, it's maybe 1 in 5 times you can successfully find a cab. Bolt is normally better though all these apps have gone majorly downhill since their peak (I remember back when I was at university, if I went out in London I could get an uber within 1 minute wherever I was)

Is it like this around the world?

Yeah its terrible.

Costs the same if not more than a taxi now.

Often times driver will just not show up and it'll say "they tried to contact you" even if you were sitting on your doorstep the whole time

Often can't get a vehicle

I would imagine it’s because you live in London. My guess is 1 in 5 Uber drives get shanked.

Yep depending on where you are and day/time it can be hard to get one, or one starts being a match, then they get a better run and drop you etc. i often stick with cabs first now.
