I miss Goths

I've been seeing a sort of goth revival wave in the zoomer kids lately. Srs. Like a mix of e-girl meets goth (at least in big Latin American cities)

I could never get into HIM. Always sounded much too cookie cutter and mainstream. The Finnish band I posted above Two Witches is light years better.

One of the more recent (last 2 decades) somewhat mainstream examples of a perfect goth soundtrack (to me)...Though a mediocre movie, is the Queen of the Damned Soundtrack. Absolutely no skips. It's considered Nu Metal, but it captures the goth essence beautifully, and not only because of the Vampire subtext.

Perfect goth soundtrack. The QOTD soundtrack was one of the first CDs I bought, when CDs were still a thing. Brings back a lot of bittersweet memories, because the book store I purchased the album from was closed for good, Borders, Requiem In Paradisum.
