Has anybody had any skin cancer on the face? (Actinic Keratosis)
Google actinic keratosis nose for the quickest examples but I’ve been dealing with this recurring for 4 plus years now. It’s just gotten worse and now seems serious
How did you get rid of yours? Most common cancer & highly treatable
Will rep srs

Actinic Keratosis is not skin cancer.
But it does have a chance to develop into skin cancer yes.
Who told you that its Actinic Keratosis on your face?
The treatment is a cream you put on that you get from your doctor. If that doesnt work then it gets removed surgically.

I know how it can be removed but I’m wanting first hand experiences here from Misc.
This is self diagnosed because symptoms and visual match online. I’ve taken everything under the sun prior to this with zero results. I’m not dealing with acne. But derms are quick to dismiss a younger person “nah it’s not AK” and prescribe some BS script for inflammation or like benzoyl peroxide
It’s fukn frustrating to be an educated patient and waste time and money on dumbass prescriptions knowing they won’t help

And if it is AK then see a doctor and get the proper treatment…because yes it can progress so you have to play it safe.
If a few doctors have seen it (especially dermatologists) and they say it isnt AK then perhaps it isnt indeed.
Post a pic here and the medical crew can see as well.
