Former Misc Mod Finally Captured After 6 Year Manhunt




McLeod, 52, pleaded not guilty to the charge of murder during his arraignment hearing, San Diego ABC affiliate KGTV reported.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 26, 2023. He faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted, the district attorney said.

"McLeod, previously described by the U.S. Marshals as an "avid bodybuilder," is believed to have taken the name of a bodybuilder in Canada who resembled him and "was able to run with that identity," O'Callahan said."

Wonder which bodybuilder that is

He was ratted out by someone it seems. He was hiding out in El Salvador teaching English under the assumed name and here in the US someone called the Marshalls with a tip that he was in El Salvador. It would have to be that he was talking to someone here still and that led to him getting caught.
