What restaurant/food joint was he talking about there?

A McDonald's near me started pulling crap like that. They'd turn their lights off 15 minutes before their posted closing times, and chit like that.

The quote was popeyes his dinner thread was about taco bell. It just evolved into the restaurant that hurt him.

Can't blame the people they get paid almost nothing and they don't want to have to reclean everything if they get a last minute order.

Nowadays it's a lot of older people who want to get home so they try this ****, back in the day it was teenagers who had respect for the way the world worked and didn't have to get home to their kids.
