With the Onions, 3/10. If they were removed, 8/10.

People need to stop using onions on this type of chit. They're a relic of the past and completely unnecessary.

A bit of a throwback yeah. I haven't done liver myself in an even longer time but it used to be: calf's liver, caramelized onions, crusty bread.

This was the range from lightly sautéed to near charred which was fine. A diner in RI.
