Big Lenny inadvertently talked me out of trying to compete in strong man competitions. Back in the mid 2000s working out at Golds Delray (Delray Fitness now) i had put on a bunch of mass and was a solid 500bench 600squat 700dead guy, mostly natural, some otc prohormone use but no gear. Big Lenny and i used to spot each other quite a bit. I was Telling him how i really wanted to start training for strong man and thought i had a good shot at competing at a high level. He was super supportive of the dream, but told me he used to train with some of the top guys, said they all used TONs of cell tech, but what scared me away from it, was he said they all did HUGE amounts of meth and pain killers so they couldn't feel **** during the sets. Said they were all doped out of their minds and would keep hitting sets of deads with blood pouring out of their noses and chit.
I basically said no thx jeff and gave up on the dream on the spot.

Yeah, before they were youtubers. Jason used to chat me up all the time. I am Friends with several people he went to high school with. Jason used to do these screaming roundhouse kicks in the middle of the gym. he was always asking people to take pictures of him shirtless. This was in like 2006 it think.

Please bro go look up Jason Genova, he still works at publix I think.
