Looks pretty sweet new design, looks like a tough watch. Got bands for different environments. Or would you just be better getting a garmin….

Srs question. I got an amazon smart watch on sale for $15. What do the $1k watches have that the cheap ones don't?

I'm not seeing enough for me to purchase the Ultra over the normal 8. Especially at 2x the price. Appears it's built for divers with the increased water resistance depth.

I like the larger size at 49mm just because I'm old and my vision is suspect.
You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

Honestly....I'm blown away how amazing that watch is. Props to Apple because holy hell the engineering challenges they overcame to make that watch boggle the mind. Extreme temperatures, extreme weather, extreme shock resistance, G forces, extreme pressures / water depths.

I just got my SCUBA certification so it blew me away that the watch is it's own DIVE COMPUTER, and I can use it to navigate underwater.

That thing will save soooooo much space, 1 tool to do the work that it used to require 10 different tools to do.

LOL at buying an 800 dollar product that has planned obsolescence and a battery that will barley hold a charge after 3 years.

Apple is literally a bunch of limp wrist *******s with skinny arms and purple hair who suck dick.

walk into any of their retail stores literally have the most degenerate people working there.

I get this weird vibe that you don’t like Apple lol.

OP I think I’m buying one as a Christmas present to myself . I have a 4 and think it’s time for an upgrade. The oxygen sensors a pretty cool addition

If you're caught up in the ecosystem, sure, worth it. I have a coworker who can't shut the fook up about his. Not sure if he just raves about it to justify the price, or actually loves it. I'm guessing it's the latter.
