Sore throat + mouth ulcers and white tongue....do I have HIV?

Its been about a month since I had unprotected sex. The last 3 days ive felt terrible, night sweat, sore throat, sores in my mouth, and a whitish tongue. Also felt some of the same symptoms the day after i had sex with this girl. Looking to get tested soon but everywhere I read the virus wont show up until 3 months after?

Highly unlikely for a straight man, even if she does have HIV the risk is 0.04%/1 in 2500 per act of unprotected sex. If you had anal sex risk is slightly higher.

That being said I'd still get tested just for peace of mind, also try get a Chlamydia/Gonorrhea/Syphilis test aswell as those STD's are far more contagious but easily cured with antibiotics.

The window period for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea is 2 weeks to show up on test and only requires a urine sample.

For HIV/Syphilis you'll need a blood sample and it'll take 8-12 weeks to show up so testing before then is useless.

i'm pretty sure viral load in saliva makes hiv almost impossible. i guess it can happen but its like only 1 case ever or something (maybe not even that)

so you wont catch it from saliva

maybe increased a lil bit in poosy juicee but i still think its small

where hiv is most prominent is in blood. which is why drug users (needles) and gays (tearing the anus) get it most. also maybe through the mouth with blood

so my guess is no you don't have HIV from unprotected sex

That typically just indicates a throat infection of some kind. It's not from sex OP.

The sores are probably mouth ulcer/canker sores that are a reaction to it.

Probably not herpes, and it could be anything form of oral thrush to stomach issues/candida overgrowth, or just a throat infection.

List all your symptoms and anything weird here.

got a 101 fever as well. Throat soreness and these ulcers/canker sores on my tongue/inside cheeks. Going to a clinic tomorow to get a full test.

keep in mind i was on a vacation for awhile, didnt brush my teeth too much, smoked, drank alcohol every night, etc
