Got a parking ticket but I dindu nuffin

OP bought a ticket like any upstanding citizen would do
Ticket must have been blown off dash as OP closed door
OP comes back to parking ticket on windscreen
OP has evidence of parking ticket, about to email and hope they cancel fine

From the parking enforcers or cop's perspective you didn't have the ticket. He's not going to just assume your **** blew away in the wind. Just show them you paid on your card or w/e proof you say you have and it won't really become an issue.
