Didn't get into the gameplay style of BoTW so this looks like just more of the same. I will probably skip this in favor of the Tales of Symphonia remake and/or new Fire Emblem game.

They also announced yet another Kirby game.

It's just been lame from them lately. I've gotten tired of all the Mario and Kirby chit, miss the days when they would make stuff like F-Zero, 1080, WaveRace, Excitebike, Rogue Squadron, Goldeneye, and so on. They made some of the best stuff back in the day, now they just make nothing besides the same few major franchises, seemingly Mario, Kirby, Zelda, Fire Emblem, and Metroid.

Yeah the OG games were great. Started declining with the Gamecube and i just haven't seen much that looks interesting on the Wii or Switch. Starfox 93 and WWF No Mercy were some other awesome ones.

Botw was Zelda Skyrim imo

Don't know if many you know but Skyrim really made an impact in Japan and showed how open western rpg's are, this influenced the Zelda team.

And nothing wrong with BOTW formula, loved exploring Hyrule.
