Yep, I have great ideas all the time, so here, have this one for free since I can't do it anytime soon anyway. (lack capital, im not really that interested long term, and dont have the required connections to make it work, but maybe a miscer can do it, and if you get rich, throw me a little something lol)


Step 1 - Start website that can host video streams WITH chat, like a twitch clone but there's a twist.

Step 2 - Partner with media companies that own content, like movies, tv shows, sports games, so that you are allowed to stream their content to the public. You do not need long term rights, only single, one time event showings, so should be much easier. This would be easier if you work with musicians, because they probably own the rights to their past concert footage

Step 3 - Partner with relevant famous people, like musicians, former sports players, actors, whoever.... And now you have a "Stream Event"... let's pick someone, for example, Steve Carrel from The Office and films. You sell virtual tickets to this Stream Event, and everyone gets to watch "The Office" episodes with Steve Carrel himself, who sits in his house somewhere with a camera on him, hanging out with chat and watching with you, giving commentary, laughing, interacting with fans in chat, etc.. So now legions of Office fans will buy tickets to join the stream, and watch episodes with Michael Scott himself, as he talks with chat and shares random stories of filming, and laugh with him. Or maybe Taylor Swift. She will watch an old concert of hers with her fans, or a movie night, or tv show, or whatever live event WITH the fans live on stream. So it's as if you are watching a movie with... example, Taylor Swift, as she sits at home on her couch, lots of people buy virtual tickets and you are watching the movie together with Taylor Swift, and there's a chat feature and if she wants, she can have a conversation with chat as movie is going on in the tiny hopes she reads and answers your question or comment, etc. Or she can watch old concert performances of hers, and share stories of what was going on, or how much she loves this song or that dress or that outfit, whatever. Her fans would love to hang out with her for a night and they would buy virtual tickets.

In exchange, let them advertise their new album, business, whatever, exposure, and/or I guess a portion of the profits of the stream event. You can charge an "virtual entry fee" like a virtual ticket, for "Movie Night : Jurassic World Dominion, featuring Taylor Swift" and people -will- pay to come hangout with her and watch a movie, or tv show, etc.. like they would to go to a concert. You'd make a lot of money selling virtual tickets.


Step 4 - Profit.

I mean, these people have legions of fans. The fans want to know more about their idols and hang out with them in a more personal way. There's a chat feature, so there's a very small chance they might even read your chat or question during stream lol.

Just another way to monetize the already existing fanbase. For example, musicians. They go on tour and work hard to sell tickets to concerts.... imagine selling 50,000 or 100,000 tickets @ $20 a pop for a stream event to hang out with your fans while at home and sitting on your couch, watching an old concert of yours, sharing your stories about that performance, how much you loved that particular outfit, whatever, chatting with them.


Imagine if one of the Kardashian sisters did this, like Kim or Kylie, and they watch famous episodes of the Kardashians on stream with their fans, and chat with fans, and give behind the scenes stories of how it was filming that or this or that, whatver. Fans would show up to have a night of hanging out with their idols.

Imagine making $1-$2 milly sitting at home in your pajamas streaming for 2 hours.

- no show overhead, booking, etc.

Apparently, her "Eras" tour tickets have sold out before they even went officially on sale. Regular fans didn't even get a chance to buy any.


Now they are starting petitions to have Taylor sell livestream PPV of tour.
