Ever cringe when people put celebs on a pedestal?

Mike Tyson does these podcasts, and he talks to most ridiculous nonsense, has passion and all, but the stuff he says is total horse ****.

Then you get these people spouting like he's some great philosopher and hanging on every word he said, "wise words, Mike". Although the guy in the below vid is like "uhuh, cool story"

I think this is similar to how the world lets the government rule the masses so easily, someone they like, or follow, or someone that has an elevated position of power can literally say anything, and I mean anything, and you'll have people nodding along and eating it up like it's the truth.

I think the lights are on, but nobodies home for over 50% of people, over 50% of the time.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of unwarranted self-importance. But having social status and a certain title gives people the erroneous that celebrities are more knowledgeable, insightful and informed than others who are not in their position.

Was it not natural that a young boy who suffered from an indelible drawback like mine should have come to think that he was a secretly chosen being? Yes, along with athletes.

Their areas of expertise are acting and sportsting. The intellectual playing field is level. Talent in either of the aforementioned does not guarantee you success in the latter.

worshiping actors is odd.

They dress up in makeup to look a little better for a few more years.

brb 100% divorce rate
brb boning harvey to not lose every job for the rest of their lives
brb trans children because of raising them in hollywood

Not really enviable, regardless if they earn a small amount more (not true for most) or do extra stuff to look 10% better while they age.

Yes I think their embarrassing. There’s a film festival happening here and people are lining up for hours just to get a glimpse of a celeb eventually showing up.
