After killing internet forums, Discord is bringing them back

Years after driving the last nail into the coffin of internet forums, Discord is resurrecting them with its own take on organized discussion called Forum Channels. The feature will start rolling out on servers today.

This is great news. I love old school forums, and even Reddit, so I’m happy to have more slower paced conversation rather than random chatting. I’ll probably use discord way more if the groups I’m already in add this. And yeah, we should have a Misc discord forum.

I don't use discord for anything but gaming and finding other gamers to play with.
