Full degen mode (Dave Ramseycels GTFIH)

Lets say you are worth a couple million and a rentcel.

You plan on buying a home soon and cutting up all your credit cards like Dave Ramsey suggests.

Any future purchases will be done in all cash, whether it be a house, car, etc.

Why or why not, should a person like this stop paying rent and max out all credit cards with no intention of paying them off?

Is it just a moral issue type thing?
