Upgrading standard Switch to Oled Version

Need to know the best place or some deals to do this. I mainly play it handheld rarely do I ever use it docked.

So might as-well for the larger screen and better picture.

Gtfo with steamdeck I’m not a pc nerd

Well I've just bought one online along with the 2017 Zelda game and am waiting for it to be delivered - people say that the upgrade isn't that good, and they're right in that they would need a whole new CPU/GPU for the upgrade to be 'real', but the OLED screen is bigger, brighter, and overall better, as are the other adjustments/upgrades.

Not sure about a 720p screen in 2022 though, shyt needs to be at least 1080p, if not 1440p capable with games running at 1080p when connected to the power supply.

Still don't understand why it can do 1080p docked and not when it's in 'handheld' and just in your hands, but OK.

I don't think Nintendo discounts much, if ever.

They are freely available at Best Buy here. Some bundles with Metroid too etc.

Hnngh for the OLED though. I recently upgraded my PC monitor to the QD-OLED.

I am actually trying to be cheap as it pertains to my entertainment budget. Times are going to get bad because of our President.

For handheld it's a game changer. The OLED screen, extra size, lack of the ugly bezel -- it's all great.
