Do kids even trick or treat anymore?
I love the fall season, and I've always loved Halloween.
One of my traditions is to watch Nightmare on Elm Street. I'm 34, and I remember back in the 90's and early 2000's I used to go door to door, and trick or treat obv with the neighborhood.
I feel like that is lost now do kids even still do it? I feel like Gen Z now will do everything on social media.
Show off their costume on Tik Tok or Instagram for likes, and then throw a degenerate party where ppl will show up with half assed costumes.

originally born and raised in san diego
moved to las vegas for 8 years and halloween (trick or treating) has always been dead there got like 4 groups ringing the doorbell but thats it... the sloots dressing up, alive and well.
moved back to san diego, every year is a steady decline in trick or treaters. A lot of parents I think are too concerned with the fake news of razer blades being inside candies and people giving away expensive drugs to little kids

I just think parents have become lazy lol heard a story where they just drive their kids and drop them off at houses instead of walking with them throughout the neighborhood.

My neighborhood is pretty dead for trick or treating, but there aren't a lot of kids that live around here. A few people with young kids and a couple people with high school kids. It's still hopping my ex-wife's neighborhood where my kids go, but it's more of a family neighborhood.
