Best gloves for a punching dummy

What type of gloves would be good for practicing on a Century BOB?

I don't know anything about this stuff but I picked up a Century BOB XL to hopefully mix up my workouts with some cardio and learn proper striking at the same time.

Century bobs have a very easy surface, maybe even just go with hand wraps.

So a good pair of mma gloves would be ok? I think I need something with good wrist support.

no they wouldn't bag gloves are smaller/lighter but why do you want to clinch a dummy it doesn't translate to real life.

What's a good way to learn proper striking in general? Can this be learned well via YouTube or are classes always the best?

Been thinking about getting a punching bag, and my kids would use it, but I don't want us to get any injuries.

I'm thinking you could clinch it to practice knees to the body. How much should I expect to spend on decent bag gloves.

bag gloves are way cheaper than sparring gloves I have seen them on sale 20-30 bucks get leather if you can not PU.

In reality, any purpose bag glove off Amazon will be fine.

Most important thing will be getting wraps, and learning the proper way to wrap to protect your wrists / hands / thumbs.

Even in muy Thai class with lots of bag and sparring work we still wore full 16 Oz gloves. Why risk breaking your hand
