I'm in IT and haven't had the opportunity to WFH. I need to physically touch some of the hardware here at my work. I did get a raise. I can't be too mad though. My office setup is pretty sweet. It's outside the facility and I have my own kitchen, bathroom, shower, and office. It's literally a mobile home. LOL I am looking to finally move on and level up my career. Cloud Engineering here I come!

I've been at work through Covid, WFH maybe a month if that. everyone else in IT is coming back and pissed. I've been here the whole time, half of our systems team is leaving.

We are hiring some more engineers and losing our offices because they outrank us , even though we worked through covid lol

I'm a Systems Administrator V and I have 2 multimillion projects coming down the pipeline. I am not happy about that cause it's going to suck the life out of me. I'm hoping to jump ship next month and leave them hanging. LOL

Boomers just can't comprehend that people do not need to be in the office to be efficient. I think their lives suck, they are lonely, and just want people in the office so they can talk about their mundane lives. Sad really.
