Explain this girl’s mentality

At dance place sitting with some friends.
Girl looks over starts vibing, says I look like this musician guy, talk about music n stuff. See her soon after start asking her about school, she talks a bit then says have a goodnight nice to meet you twice in row dismissive like.

Wut? Seems like a weird sudden shift mentally.

My vibe/demeanour was pretty neutral, didn’t really want to get with her but might as well see where it goes so I didn’t have some aggro energy. Surprised by the shift

from my experience when women act off like that it's useless to try and figure out what you did wrong, so don't dwell on it.

It's a common misconception that when a girl acts weird all of a sudden that it's solely because of something you did. Many women just act retarded unprovoked.

Are you gonna marry the chick? Nope. Just be friendly and cordial next time you see them. You’re not married FFS. You ain’t even dating.

They probably aren’t even thinking about you. Why waste your thoughts on them?

Are you their boyfriend? Their husband? Their father? You aren’t responsible for their emotions or choices in life. Think about something else.
