It's real and directly observable. All empirical data to date confirms it too. It's also been known why it happens for over 100 years. But I am sure your Exxon funded "skeptics" or contrarians with zero qualifications in atmospheric physics will tell you how it is all a conspiracy or that it's just the sun or some other garbage.

You mention Exxon, as if the government doesn’t also have funded skeptics pushing their own agenda. Here’s a hint: it, too, involves money. Just give the government some more control and some more money through taxes and they will SURELY fix this problem. Just like they fixed all of the other problems they’ve had control over.

Of course the climate changes. Climate is weather over time. Weather changes. Climate does too.

Yeah literally two or three orders of magnitude less money. You think grad students making 20k a year researching the atmosphere are lying while Exxon with a vested interest isn't. Even Exxon no longer denies climate change btw. And the effect has been corroborated independently by multiple countries.

They are talking about the fact that human activities are causing global warming, pollution, and a whole bunch of nasty ecological effects.

It has zero to do with politics. It's an obvious thing. Even Putin acknowledged it is happening and that we will eventually have to get off fossil fuels. And his entire economy depends on them.

Whether the government tries to solve it or not, it has to be solved. It's a real problem. It doesn't matter how much idiots stall the government. People are already voluntarily transitioning away from fossil fuels. It is in everyone's interest to do so wherever possible in an economical manner.

If Exxon isn’t denying it, why mention them? These laws, treaties, and meetings are literally accomplishing nothing. If sea levels are about to rise, when do the elites plan on selling their properties on the beaches?

I would say the order of magnitude is more than these oil companies. We are talking about trillions of dollars in future spending to combat “climate change.” And I am not a fan of these companies, by the way. They’re all corrupt, to include the government.
