Fuark can't go to Miami now, what do

On a 2 month trip to the US

Decided to cancel my week long trip to Miami that was meant to flight out today because of the cyclone.

Made a snap decision to go to Houston instead, what's good there bruhs?

I don't mind city chit but prefer but prefer stuff like hiking and cliff jumping etc.

No offense, but if you wanted to cliff jump and hike in some mountains, you probably should have went somewhere besides a flat swampland with nothing to do. I suppose the little amusement pier if you drive down to Galveston could kill some time.

If you are into space you can visit the Nasa mission control. They have the set where they filmed the “moon landing” there etc.

Miami doesn't have that stuff??? There are literally no mountains in Florida

Anyways - I went to Miami in May of this year. Don't underestimate the heat. Just downright awful. I tried to go walking around in miami when I was there, and I couldn't do it for long . Reschedule your visit for the winter months (Dec - Feb).

As for Houston -- skip it. I preferred San Antonio, with the Riverwalk

Miami might actually be nice after a day or so of rain..if you are flying into there, consider keeping the trip

Go check out some national parks instead of Houston if that is what you are into... Rocky Mountain is not too far outside of Denver.
What are you on about mate?

Brahs this panhandler outside the store asked "lemme hold $10 for you real quick"

Gave him the money and the dude just ran off real quick lmfao, could have just asked for it upfront.
"Hold" - implies it will be temporary and he will give it back
"For you" - implies it's not for him but to be returned to me.
"Real quick" - implies he will get back to me right away

What in the **** lmfao

In other news OP had fun at the top gun range today, shot with the FN Scar and Glock. The Scar in full auto was difficult to control, recoiled to far up high after a few seconds, any tips?

Not regretting not going to Miami at all

Went to Chicago about 2 weeks ago and was fine.

Walked around in the early morning downtown and felt fine.

Used red line late at night and was fine.

Somehow stumbled into Garfield West following riot fest (10 to 11pm) and was fine.

Place doesn't seem all that bad in terms of safety.

Only 2,352 people have been shot THIS year in Chicago...Seems safe.
