Looks like a red dot sight, no (or very little) magnification on one of those, and it's a whole lot different shooting paper at 200 yards that's not moving and shooting back. Well done Ocifah.

Not sure why the cops didn’t simply De-escalate the situation. Could have brought a social worker, someone from the the community, to explain to the young man what was going on. The social worker could have gave him a gift card to his favorite restaurant as a sign of good faith.

It was clear the guy was just scared because he heard that one or tht officers said the N word before. They could have started with rubber bullets and just aimed at his left pinky toe.

I heard that he was was starting his internship at NASA JPL the next day.
