So the bond market looks like this right now



and they are begging for the money printer to turn on and slash rates.

It really hasn't spread to the stock market yet, but bond yields and stock prices are intertwined, and it's only a matter of days or weeks IMO before stocks panic too.

You should always watch central banks closely, but you REALLY need to watch central banks closely over the next month. If they capitulate, stocks will circuit-break upwards and today is basically the floor. If the Fed holds, stocks could fall by another 25% easily before they hit any kind of fundamentals bedrock. Job losses would almost certainly begin too.

I think the Fed has to continue with increasing rates and rolling MBS. The alternative is YOY 8-9% inflation.

I’m not really tying to buy bread with a wheelbarrow full of cash.

Well you may be one of the most financially savvy investors here.

The issue I have with holding physical gold and silver is it seems like a large liability- someone breaks in and steals it, if a fire happens might be hard to locate it, storage.

Cliffs:

- Fed will continue to hike due to political pressure

- hiking rates will NOT bring down inflation because it is "too little, too late"

- hiking rates will make things worse


The Bank of England's actions yesterday bought less than 24 hours of stability in the bond market. This is after they said that they would buy as much as necessary to stabilize the situation.

This is on top of the European Central Bank already having committed to buying as much as necessary to stabilize the Euro.

If two central banks are openly purchasing and still can not stem the sell off [and I suspect the Fed is not so openly purchasing] then I don't hold out much hope of the situation being saved.

I sincerely believe that the reset is nearing. Multiple countries have Central Bank Digital Currency programs with pilots that have already started or are starting soon.

i've stopped buying dips. I think we see another -10% down before we see the bottom.
