But who was insurance?

If he can buy one of those I'm sure the annoyance of having to waste time to buy another is what's keeping him up at night.

Yeah if you read the article there is a video of both his McLaren and Rolls floating out of his garage. He'll be just fine.

For people that rich wouldn't it have been a smart idea to get the cars to areas that weren't being hit?

Dunno. Pretty sure you go on a wait list to purchase both of the cars he lost.

Maybe he doesn't care either way lol

They don't produce P1's haven't for years, he probably bought it at an auction. Rolls Royces aren't that special as far as wealthy people go, just a luxury car to them.

it's more than likely insured, and will get replaced. only issue is that it will take some time, because there will probably be a huge line to get the flooded cars removed, and sorted out with the insurance companies. not like you'd want to be driving around that area in an expensive exotic right now anyway...

It's not your mother's Subaru, it's a P1. It's going to take a lot more than some water to total it.

Cars like that can't really be totaled anyways, someone is always willing to rebuild them due to desirability, value, and low production numbers.

I saw a guy completely wreck a Ferrari Enzo on a track and someone had it completely rebuilt.

This. These are somewhat rare supercars. They will get rebuilt and still worth more than anything we drive.

Did he get vaccinated first? Biden said that would be the best hurricane prep a person can do.

He posted this before the storm came. The car only had 300 miles on it. Like others said, this guy will get an insurance check and someone will rebuild this car. It only suffered minor body damage so really everything just needs to be disassembled, cleaned, all electronics replaced, and the engine rebuilt. vTuned on YouTube rebuilt a 720S and swapped the entire carbon monocoque, basically building the entire car from scratch so it can definitely be done.
