what expert do I talk to about workman's comp, being a small business owner? RAPED

I make like 50k/ year with this small business with 1 employee, and a few part time guys, and Liberty Mutual did a "premium audit" which I just forwarded to my payroll company, and they said I own $7800 DOLLARS?!?!

WTF is going on, am I allowed to make more than min wage working 100 hours a week in this system?

Who would I even talk to about this to see if this is correct, because I don't understand any of it. I need an expert. Lawyer? SBA? Insurance expert?

You should 1099 everyone and exclude yourself from the policy.

Why do you have workman's comp? Companies your size in my state aren't required to have it.

Are you required to carry workman's comp insurance?

I never carried anything but a general liability policy, and the only reason I had that was to maintain an alcohol permit.

I would tell the insurance company to go fukk themselves and replace them with a new insurance company and policy.
