People who don't believe in after life why? Srs

There were things before you were born and it’ll be the same after

What makes you think there isn't? Because of the Bible? Well there’s so many religions that tell different stories than the Bible so how do you know the Bible is right ?

Maybe the others r wrong and bible is right

Why would I? Because living people tell me there is one?

What would you even do in one? Are you even you or are you some ego-less soul that is like every other soul? Do you do stuff in the afterlife? Do you look like yourself? Old or young? Does it matter?

The more I think about an afterlife, the more questions pop up.

If someone died for a couple days and then came back to life, maybe I'd consider what they had to say.

More I think about it, eternal existence sounds horrible. Eventually you'd do everything you could possibly do. Then what? Are you forced to just keep existing?

If I can pick an afterlife that sounds the best, it would be reincarnation. Technically it's starting over, but at least it's finite.
I'm back, bitches!

Can't be proven.

People who die (literally put in the ground) can't report what they've found on the other side.

However I will say humanity is barely scratching the surface of the nature and science of consciousness

Haven’t seen it yet.

The idea of an afterlife is the biggest cope ever. People choose to believe in it because it makes them feel better, but there's no logical reason to believe in it

There are a lot of things that are true that can't be proven.

There is a fixed number of molecules at any given moment that make up the sun, but that number can't be proven, doesn't mean it isn't true.

I wish I could be so gullible. Life would be so much easier if you thought after you die you'd go to some magical place because you were good lol. Imagine letting Jesus take the wheel because you're so useless you think if you just give up some fake dude will take over and guide you.

The amount of blind cope it takes to believe all that honestly makes me think so much less of anyone who actually does.

Some people that had a near death experience think our consciousness shifts to a different universe when we die

Your body may die but who knows what happens to that consciousness

It's wishful thinking but people have a fear of the unknown so we'd like to think there is something else after rather than ceasing to exist in any way.

No way to really know but I hope there is something, it would be fun to head off on a new adventure or meet ancestors.
