Would you rather be guy A, or guy B?

Guy A: 220k a year + great benefits, boring office job (50% remote), 6'2, 8/10 physique, little to no social life, no gf/wife.

Guy B: 40k a year + terrible benefits, demanding physical job (100% onsite), 5'8, beer gut physique, great social life, loving gf/wife.

if you can raise guy b's wage to a livable wage in San Diego, I would take that over Guy A every time.

I assume with your criteria, that means that those items are persistent, not open to changing once you become that guy.

Guy A for sure. Can easily develop a social life in 1-2 years with good looks and wealth. Then he'll be smashing Guys B wife in no time.

I voted A but it's a tough call. I'm choosing A with the idea that I can find a decent wife. But it might be smarter to be guy B and work to get in good shape.

I am sort of guy A (money with no social life), and my dad is literally guy B (actually 5'8", actually bloatlord, actually makes $40k, actually works manual labor, actually hangs out with the Class of 1980 football team to this day).

I will take my dad's life every single fukking time. Y'all have got to see it firsthand to understand how well it can actually work.
