I've felt life move inside of me so I couldn't have an abortion. I'm so glad I'm past that state because for years as a woman having a late period causes so much mental distress when you aren't planning to have children, which is most of the time in your reproductive years.

I don't know the answer to that because I remember being married but poor in the beginning and we couldn't have afforded kids and I couldn't take the pill, so I had a lot of stress.

Simply holding the position that abortion is killing a baby doesn't make the person holding that position responsible for the social ramifications. He didn't put abortion in place, so if the option for abortion gets taken away, that's not on him.

Just like if he'd simply said that murder is bad... Would you then look at him and say:

"Well what are we going to do about guns then?"

I just know as a Mom of a teen it's a tough question and I don't have the answer. Nor do I have the answer in terms of women on welfare having more unplanned pregnancies. It's a social problem that's definitely an issue but yes any type of murder is wrong.

Also where do you definite abortion? Plan B is considered an abortifacient by certain churches. So is the IUD? Those are the answers to the questions that I cannot answer and thus it's a complicated issue.
