It's cheaper for me to eat Chipotle than cook right now

Been doing OMAD lately on a cut, and I've found that it's cheaper to go to Chipotle once per day between 3-7PM than to actually cook. Occasionally have a protein shake outside of that, but otherwise no food.

If you learn to work the people making food, get double rice, 4 scoops of beans, double Chicken. and a lot of cheese. Usually they can't even fit the top on for me, and it's either $8 or $11 depending whether they remember to charge me for the double Chicken.

Ends up being probably like 2 pounds of food, and plenty for the entire day with about 1500 calories. Definitely much easier than cooking, and I can't really cook legit meals for less than this nowadays, especially ones that actually taste good and hit all my macros well.

Just a little info to help the other single dudes out in this high inflation time.

We don't have Chipotle up here in Canada but yeah I've noticed that too with some fast food places are cheaper than cooking a meal at home

Eggs and rice, especially if bought in bulk, would tell you you're wrong. I've created some very filling meals that cost less than $3. Not 1500 Calories worth though.

Yes of course there are foods you can cook at home that are less. But Chipotle is 50x better tasting and more nutritious than Eggs and homemade rice. And you still wouldn't be saving that much money, as good eggs are like $5 per dozen right now.

Sometimes yes. Right now it would take a girl that I'm really attracted to.

Yeah, I used to cook all the time with no issues. But ever since I could afford to eat out every meal I stopped cooking entirely. I don't spend a lot more on food now, which is funny

I prefer cooking and enjoy my food more when I make it myself.
