I Had No Idea Fetterman is This Incoherent

I knew the guy was an idiot and had a second head growing out of his neck but the guy can't even create a logical sentence after his stroke

The fact that he still leads in the polls at this point could be the biggest scam in election polling since 238's prediction in 2016.

This is Jayarbie's pick.

I will say, I still know little about him and generally speaking, I think everyone puts way too much emphasis on speaking ability when picking politicians.

Jay and his ilk though, they focused entirely on it with Trump, all the trolling or silly things he said, and never wanted to focus on his policies.

Is it okay now to focus entirely on his speech and speaking and ignore all his policies, too? Or does that only matter with Trump?

Doesnt really matter at this point. the voters there will elect him because he is a democrat and they are idiots.

Would be better off with a mannequin in office but they will get what they vote for.

There are plenty of videos post-stroke of Fetterman babbling incoherently on the campaign trail. Just because you ignore their existence doesn’t mean they aren’t real.

Now Dr Oz is no candidate I would ever pick, but holy **** if you were to vote for a trust-fund progressive with an unfortunate cognitive defect over him.

I noticed the same thing last time someone posted a video of him talking.

And why doesn't he go to the fuking dr for that thing?
waiting until after the election?
Or does he really think putting a band-aid on a serious issue is the best solution?
if so yeeee he will make a great democrat in office.

The 'speaking issues' are much more than him just slipping up. He had a stroke. It has apparently affected him cognitively and his speech. He refuses to debate without closed captioning because he cannot process speech. That is their excuse. Now, we know that all politicians do is speak and argue all day long. This is not someone that you want representing anyone. Everyone's concern or point with him is that there is some cognitive issues that are being glossed over with the help of the media like they have with Biden.

Also, his policies are the typical far left liberal policies that continue to ruin this country.

the narrative is ..."guise he just needs some time cause of his strokes"

Its a common trend with the candidates on the left it seems. ...I guess to relate to their voter base

Dems thinking islands can capsize, voter ID is racist, the Eagles are so much better than the Eagles and aheldedkhvsfgupthpressure

no one wants to debate anymore because of XXX reason... and the Dems dont want any candidate to debate or do and interview etc

they want dumb, flesh & bones avatars for the real people in control of the DNC

Minute long clips are disasters too. It's sad and appalling that he could end up in Congress. He was an epic tool before his stroke too.

Hm, the people ITT ragging on Fetterman are the same ones who are awfully quite about Hershal Walker, which is funny since they've both more or less have the same speaking capabilities.

This exact post word for word can be said about Walker, just replace democrat with republican. They're both potatoes but noone on either side cares because the potato in question is on their "team"

I'm not in the thread ragging on Fetterman, in fact I kind of supported him on the down low. I at least dismissed the criticism of him over his speaking and said we emphasize this way too much as voters.

Would you care to address the question I asked (which was more directed at Jayarbie, but I'll redirect it at you as well)... Why are Fetterman supporters so quick to dismiss his obvious speaking inadequacies and demand to focus almost entirely on his policies -- when they were the first ones to damn Trump for his speaking inadequacies (real or often inflated, exaggerated or flat invented) with no consideration to his actual policies?

Hershal Walker speaks more or less as a normal guy who is not a lifelong public speaker/lawyer, so I also don't hold that against him. I'm much more concerned about his moral character, which seems to be of questionable merit - which is something I hold against pretty much all politicians, I do not like how rotten, selfish and immoral they often are.

No idea, I don't support fetterman, but if I had to guess it would be because (and i mentioned this in my previous post) he's on their "team." The ripping on trump for the way he speaks is just finding something, anything to attack him on because trump has an R next to his name.

And I know r/p hate to hear this but both sides do it (attack candidates/politicians for silly/irrelevant nonsensical things).
