You might need them in the future if you need a professional reference. Or you might end up returning to this workplace down the road. (You just never know ..)

If you're leaving, you likely have another job. This new employer will notice that you're leaving without 2 weeks notice, which wouldn't look good for you

I've done both. Love a good two week notice and phuck around for 2 weeks. Good part of most jobs I've had is coworkers, fun to chit talk them and just enjoy. You got a lot of strong opinions op
180 lb crew
Take chit and pis 165lb crew
Go to bed, wake up 173lb crew
Annoyed at eating whatever I want and not getting fat crew
Accidentally get fat crew
Back to 175lb the next day crew

In college I used to work fast food and retail and we would all conspire to quit around the holidays, when they needed us most, because the trash managers were such d-bags.
