In a race to the bottom the evil always win. *Dear Diary rant alert*
It's all about perspective. Also, honestly, I think the idea of "good" and "bad" is muddied a bit. Especially in the West where the world is backwards.
I had this question a while back and pretty much came to the conclusion from reading other ideas from people and thinking it through that the "good" can still win in this world. We have to live IN it but not OF it. So you can be wealthy financially without being "greedy." It's basically just all a game that you have to maneuver based on your morals/values/principles. People without those will obviously rise very fast in this system, but can also crumble in an instant. Power attracts the worst and corrupts the best.
I do still have a gripe with this idea of life being unfair. Had an ex coworker die 2 weeks ago on the way to work. Car was speeding and somehow flew over the median on an expressway into oncoming traffic and right onto my coworkers car. A man with 4 kids (2 adopted), married his high school sweetheart, and genuinely one of the nicest people you will ever meet was killed and burned alive on the way to his new job to provide for his family. There is nothing fair about that. I'm honestly genuinely irritated by this because it is a hard pill to swallow. The wicked are seemingly temporarily immortal, and the good will die as if they didn't matter.
It's a tough world to navigate brah.

Lol.
The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

Are they successful in what you want?
Popularity matters. Everyone is imperfect, and you ought to side with raising families to sow something of value instead of breaking everyone's potential for some hardline autism.

It’s actually like that at both my jobs right now and it sucks. One of them I’m the main reason it’s still going and not only do more bulls in one night than everyone combined I also open and close doors and do trash and load trailers and all sorts of stuff while most do nothing. The company gave every position in the place a big raise if 4 more per hour abd I got nothing. My other job I work hard while all of the astronauts hang out and hit on girls. They upped my workload while no overtime else does crap. Pretty much why I don’t like America anymore.

The working man is a sucker.
I’ve seen it in my own family. My dad spent my whole life working 60+ hours, holding down 3 jobs at a time to put food on the table and raise me on his own. Never took a handout. Never went on welfare. But what did he get for all his hard work? Nothing but a broken down body, alcoholism and depression.
I have another family member who basically never worked outside of part time gigs. He married a high value woman, they had kids and he got to be a stay at home dad with an unlimited allowance. Some might say cuck but his at the end of the day this guy’s day consists of sleeping in, going to the gym, taking his kids to sports games, going on vacations/day trips whenever, playing video games and living an extremely low stress happy life. That’s more of a mogger lifestyle on easy mode.
I have respect for what my father sacrificed. I wish I could strike it rich and give him the life he deserves in his 2nd half but I also learned how working hard has no reward. This life is thankless.

The people at the top (politicians, celebs) have done some of the most immoral chit you couldn't even fathom. That's why you shouldn't idol worship these people. In this fleeting material life they have the tastiest lollipops and the most fancy fancy pants but your soul intact is worth so much more when it's time to cash in your chips.

Some of you in this thread need to do a serious nut check and start thinking of yourself instead of your boss/job.
If you think employer loyalty exists in America today, you're wrong. They'd fire you tomorrow if it helps their bottom line.
Wake up.

I haven't found this truism to be even slightly true.
Almost every person I know in my life who is truly successful is super nice. It's hard to get anywhere in this world without being nice. And in fact, one really great strategy to be successful in all aspects of life is just be decently smart and then be super nice and social with everyone. Friends do favors to friends. You can get all the way to the top just by being friends with people.

Life is unfair and people are evil. You have the choice to cheat and scheme and be the same or bear the cross and don't. It's up to you what you do based on your outlook and perspective of life.
Can't control people or blame them for playing the game differently than you. In the end we all have to account for the choices we made.

Without evil we don’t have goodness because the paradigm of good/evil would no longer exist.

I have an uncle who reads everything in his retirement years and I hate hearing his truths but he is correct 95% of the time.
What he tells me is that America now is one big hustle, and the little nice guy gets trampled on constantly so you better learn some people skills and street smarts because winners don't always have the best credentials and intelligence.

There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

What he tells me is that America now is one big hustle, and the little nice guy gets trampled on constantly so you better learn some people skills and street smarts because winners don't always have the best credentials and intelligence.

If she turned into one of them life may have been easier.
There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!
