Why do police/cops have a distinctive vibe?

Anyone else noticed this? I've noticed when you talk to police officers they have a different type of body language and aura compared to the average person regardless of there personality.

One of the key things I've noticed is very strong eye contact which doesn't break, clear vocabulary with long pauses between sentences and when you speak to them you get a weird suspicious vibe it's kinda hard to explain.

Like I was talking to a group of off duty coppers recently at work and just from there overall movement, body language etc I could instantly tell they're cops.

Is this just natural to them or is it an act that becomes instinct?

i think its from studying law. that automatically creates this "superior" type mindset. i don't think its true. but its something someone will hold over your head since you live in society. so they walk around thinking they "know more" than the avg. person living in that society

they're like mini lawyers, but without the same breadth and depth of knowledge of the law. they're always held up to that "standard" - law - as well, and enforcing it

same thing with lawyers. its like this fake air of eruditeness/ superiority because of aforementioned. but meanwhile, a lawyer knows jack chit about biology or physics

Lol I only talk to them if I have to, not just for the sake of it.

Sometimes they come through my workplace and make small talk, that's how I've picked up on there behaviour.

They are mostly low iq individuals that have been told they have authority and power. The way they walk, talk and act differently than you is pure douchebag attitude.

Police didn’t sign up to serve and protect, if they did them the streets would be safer and a lot cleaner. They signed up to do whatever some weirdo mayor that has never accomplished anything real in his life tells them to do .

A lot of it is training and education they get, the rest is confidence and character, which develops as a young officer and grows as they get older. Also realize that those who apply for these positions naturally have a certain character to begin with. We see it in extremes often times though. Police attract more antisocial characters than almost any other career, which is why they have to take psych tests and why police depts should maintain high standards.

Eye contact is the sign of confidence and social strength. We aren’t used to seeing it as often these days because of the amount of weaklings our government has created.

Their body language is also deliberate. Hands in front, in a “ready position” when talking to some that might be a threat. Shoulders back, head up, chin slightly down.

On a final note, dealing with society in general will change you. As a former medic, my character changed greatly after only a few months. Even got a few dates from this change, being told it was attractive that I knew how to handle people, myself, and the confidence I had at both my job and in ED life as a result.

Experiencing the world creates strength of character. That’s a real issue today.

Here’s something to chew on; most police officers have strong character. Weak minded people find strong character to be abrasive and even “evil “. They cannot make a distinction between strong character and weak character. This is generally due to a lack of self-awareness. To make matters worse, extremely weak individuals are terrified of authority figures. This is the result of a lack of father in the household or a bad father. If you find that police officers intimidate you, it’s time for a reality check

They have some that are good people who don’t think their badge means they’re above others. Most are a product of overcompensating for insecurities. You see this type of change take place in a few different professions, like the used car salesman who has the fake it till you make it confidence and acts extremely extroverted. Naturally confident people who gained that confidence through life before they were out of high school (this is a big deciding factor on who becomes a cop, their HS experience) don’t have that fake over confidence. You usually don’t have to look much further than who they were (or weren’t more accurately) in HS to connect the dots. Confident people have no desire to control others because they are already secure in their manhood or who they are. That doesn’t apply to everyone ofc, you have to meet them or see their interactions individually to see which they are. It is a very common theme with them though and a reason it’s a stereotype type like any other.
