Yeah it kinda does, but its more than just an average 'clicker' game i think?

I've sunk more time into it than i care to remember, completed it 2 or 3 times (8/9 hours to complete for me).

The good bit is my work doesn't flag it up as a 'game' on its net security rules.

What's the deal with Autoclippers? The higher level you're at the greater the auto production rate? (I've got 11 showing)

I suppose the 11 is the actual number you make per second?

From what i remember should be the first goal in level 1, 10,000 ops required i think, then another 10,000 ops for a platonic chip. At which point you can run ops up manually, so don't have to wait around for them to build, based on processor speed.

But there's loads of caveats, like you need a certain amount of paperclips, ops, memory, creativity etc before options start dropping in that lets you progress, also there will be stuff stopping you from going from level 1 to 2 or 2 to 3, without certain requirements, or you'll struggle.

I'd say if you enjoy it, play it instictively a couple of times, then start googling stuff.

The more autoclippers you have the more you clips you make, once you have a certain number of autoclippers going, you get the option to buy megaclippers, which churns them out 100X faster. In the early stage of the game its about wire management and building ops, creativity, memory.

Yeah, i like the game, although its a time sinker. Some guy built it for his PHD or something using just Javascript.

If anyone gets stuck youtube paperclips speedruns and it should help. Some guys can finish the whole game in under 2 hours..............

Ha! It's addictive for sure, don't waste too much time on it though.

When i finished the game i thought it would feel great but it was more like meh.

Such is life for a paperclip generating algorithm..
