Israel is one of the greatest cons/swindles ever

It has literally nothing to do with religion, yet they used a holy book revered by the West to gain land and genocide the existing populace.

A race of people who used a religion they no longer follow so they could have their own ethnostate, genius.

How is retrieving our ancestors homeland a “con”?

It’s 100% just and alpha af. We went from getting our chit kicked by Egyptians, romans, muslims, nazis, and now we dominate the world in technology, finance, and media. No cons involved.

It is quite clever, even more so when you learn its the reason we(america) joined WW1 with the balfour declaration.

Are you seriously saying this with a straight face? The brainwashing is real. Read the history of that region. It was an Arab land. The descendants of the people who lived there are the Palestinians. There is genetic data to fuking prove this too. The current jews in Israel came from Europe. Like I said, they have mythologized and lied about their history to justify genocidal colonialism. It's grotesque.

And I say this with nothing but love and respect for the jewish people. Israel as a nation is founded in blood. There needs to be some sort of statehood for Palestinians. It is founded in injustice, and while nothing will ever make it right, more must be done by Israel to make amends.

I realize this is a painful truth for jews to hear, but you need to open your eyes to it, just as Americans are now opening their eyes to their own history of injustice. We can't make things better by denying our past.

No. I am an atheist. Seriously, look into it. How can you deny the existence and rights of Palestinians to their home? It was taken from them by force. It was an injustice. Acknowledging that doesn't make you a traitor. It would mean you were on the side of truth.

And no, I believe most of the history told in the Bible is a lie. There is, to date, zero evidence of Jewish enslavement in Egypt, for example.

Dude there is overwhelming evidence they lived in what is now Israel for many hundreds if not thousands of years prior. You are saying they came from Jordan and Lebanon a mere 200 years ago? Really dude?

At least you agree it is sad. History is always manipulated and politicized, but at least you can see the injustice today. Does that excuse terrorism? NO. But you can understand their desperation and plight. People need to abandon their callous nationalism and work for the common good. It is the only path to peace.
