Thinking of picking up Skating again (mid life crisis?)
Always sucked at it and last I skated regularly was like 20 years ago, physically kinda fked up right now, bad knees etc. can barely moderately lift
I'm in my mid 30's but think I could at least pull a kickflip now, we didnt have youtube tutorial vids back then
I wouldn't hit a skate park or streets but have big enough space in the yard to embarrass myself privately
Thoughts? any oldcel picking up new hobbies before kicking the bucket or becoming physically impaired?

Who cares if its midlife crisis brah
I’m almost 30 and in the past couple of years I got back into a couple of hobbies I never did after turning 20.
As you age you realize it’s important to indulge in hobbies and not just chase money and pussy.

I’ve pretty much quit completely, but a year or so ago I revisited skating and definitely got better than I ever was as a kid. That extra brain power to figure it out, as well as online tutorials, as mentioned, made it a lot easier.
Although I no longer skate, I still look at decks and I hang them for art work in my office.

I still skate. I've never stopped since I was 11 or 12. I just bought a blank deck from skatewarehouse for $20 recently. Much better deal than that alltimers deck I would imagine.

Started skating again at 27 (35 now). Probably the funnest and most freeing thing you can do. It’s fun af once you get a few tricks you can consistently do on each obstacle at the skate park
Just flowing around the park or wherever there’s concrete is awesome

Mountain biking is the adult equivalent of "going outside to play" when you were a kid.

I just borrowed a board from someone, we'll see how it goes.

I started skating when I was 12. My step-father built me a half pipe in the backyard with money me and my younger brother won at the racetrack.
I'd like to start riding again but the risk of injury rises as you get older.
