Received a rent renewal "special offer" from landchad

Landchad won't raise my rent if I sign a renewal 6 months before the end date.

Otherwise, my rent will go up periodically if I beat around the bush.

Should I call their bluff in March? Or bend over for landchad?

My rent stayed the same in Texas. I would just re-sign the lease. Usually they bump the rent up a bunch because they know it’s a huge amount of time and energy to move your **** so you’ll usually just pay it so you got a good deal if they keep it the same.

So I should call their bluff?

I've been a good rentcel, always pay on time and don't cause problems.

Ask yourself if Mr. Shecklestein is doing this for your benefit or his benefit?

Market rates in 2023 will go down. But he still knows it cost time and money to move and you most likely wont. He has many rentcels so he will call your bluff and take that risk, doesnt matter if one or two here or there try to wait him out until next year.
