I really believe the clone wars cartoon series are the best star wars shows. When I heard about these I was hopeful. Everything I'm hearing has me excited.

There's an table interview between Dave Filoni(Producer), Jon Favreau (Writer and Producer) and the directors of The Mandalorian, they talk about how they're big fans of Star Wars and all about choosing them to direct The Mandalorian.

I saw the first 4 movies in the theater when they came out and then gave up. Lucas made his money, but disappointed the 80's kids.

On spread. I completely agree.

In addition, it makes ROTS hit so much harder. There are so many "what-ifs" that get woven into the Clone Wars and you get a chance to really see Anakin as a hero and the brotherhood he develops with Obi wan. In the movies there's never enough time to really see the character development.

He was a producer for the book of boba fett episodes except for the episodes centered around Mando. The two best episodes of that series, 5 and 6, were directed by Bryce Dallas Howard and Dave Filoni.
