Anyone have travel anxiety?

Idk man, I hate going places that are far. I wont go on a road trip, I will fly places though if theyre only like a couple hours away or so.

I get this weird anxiety just driving far af away from home/

Am i the only one lol

Weird you have it from driving. I’m more likely to have it from flying. When I have my car I still feel like there’s more control I have. I can get in the car and just go back if I need to

If I fly I take that away. I can’t just jump in my car and go home if things get unsafe.

Plus the act of flying itself. Trusting other people with your bags. Trusting the plane to take off on time. Then the anxiety of finding your rental car…. Like what if I can’t find it and I’m totally screwed? Then you get the car and you have to drive around in a strange unfamiliar location in a strange unfamiliar vehicle.

Even worse anxiety is not having a rental car and using public transportation/Uber everywhere…. Anxiety through the roof on those trips (srs)

The more I think about it the only travel anxiety I have is when I don’t have my car. That car is like a nice security blanket.

Dude im 1000% like this when im around my city. Under no circumstances will i do anything without my car.

I dont let anyone in the world pick me up with their car, I have to have mine no matter what.

Also I will never uber just lmao @ being driven around with zero control

Or if Im flying somewhere I have to have a rental, my friends will never drive me around. Weird thing I guess, but its nonnegotiable lol.

I had it my whole life, but for the last couple of years it is getting better. Traveling with the car is much better in my case than taking a train.
