I learned this as well very recently what a coincidence OP.

First he made a fortune profiting from the Civil War, then it was crude oil.

Accounting for inflation, Rockefeller is still the wealthiest man in modern history.

The Trump fortune is descended from prostitution in Canada, in British Columbia.

It was a brothel during the gold rush, built by a German American Friedrich Trump.

Lust for gold was once the driving force behind empires and their conquests.

Now it is oil, black gold, that pulls empires into war and the poor into death.

There is a great book on oil called The Prize by Daniel Yergin, it is all about crude oil.

It really dives deep into the history of oil and the political/economic role it plays on an international scale.

I think it's relevant to Americans as 7,000 American soldiers died in the Middle East oil wars, and 3,000 in 9/11.

I can't predict how those politician's lies are going to be reconciled, but there will be justice inevitably.

Those terrorists carried out 9/11 for a reason, not a good reason, but a reason that involved oil.

Now there are 10,000 dead Americans and no reconciliation for what happened or why.
